Why is it important to pass down your family history?
I believe that it is important to pass down my family history as it keeps the memory of my family alive for future generations to hear about.
How will you keep your stories alive?
I will keep my stories alive by telling them to the future generations of my family and encourage them to tell them to the generations ahead.
What family traditions do you have already?
Something my family does that could be considered a tradition is to go down to my grandparents house every summer.
WHERE are you from? WHERE is your FAMILY from?
I am from Oceanside, CA as well as my parents, but my grandpa on my mothers side is originally from Belfast, Ireland and my grandma is from New York, NY, although her parents are both from Ireland.
WHAT do you know about your family history?
I know a limited amount about my family history, only that my grandpa immigrated to America from Ireland at 17 years old due to the Troubles; an ethno-nationalist conflict in Northern Ireland started by predominantly Protestant England and lasted from 1968 to 1998.
How do YOU want to be remembered?
I would like to be remembered as a good person who worked hard.

What don't you know? What do you wish you knew?
I wish I knew how my grandparents met and I don't know what exactly my grandpa did to immigrate.
Who are you thinking about interview and why?
I am thinking about interviewing my grandpa as he went through the struggles of immigrating and we have a pretty close bond.
