Currently in 21CEE, we are working on our passion project. For this project we had to choose 8 things that we were passionate about, which was pretty hard since I'm quite indecisive. Although difficult, I picked out my 8 passions which were 1. Photography, 2. Cooking, 3. Learning how to play in instrument, 4. Dancing, 5. Traveling, 6. Learning a sport, 7. Do something nice for a stranger and 8. Pick up trash around the area. Completing the March Madness worksheet made me think about what I should even do for my Passion Project in the first place. After looking through various ideas, I settled on 3 options that I could try out. These were 1. Learn American Sign Language and teach it to someone, 2. Help out at a daycare and 3. Pick up liter around campus. I chose to learn ASL as I recently met someone who was severely deaf, and it made me think about how difficult it was for them to communicate, chose to help out a daycare as a very close family friend runs one and chose to pick up liter around campus as I see how much waste is not put away properly and would like to fix that problem. One question that I have about this project is how the person who started this project came up with the idea. What are your ideas for your passion project?
